How to Fold an icky origami earthworm

Dec 8, 2010 01:38 AM
Artistic representation of a segmented earthworm made from cardboard.

And you thought real earthworms were scary. This origami earthworm, which has segments that can bend and twist, is just as if not more icky than their living and breathing cousins.

Creep out friends and family while impressing them with your mad origami folding skills by making this earthworm origami project.

The earthworm closes at the ends like the Pandora's Box.

The paper size varies with block size (x) and number of blocks (n) you want:

width: 3*n*x

height: 5*x

The earthworm in this video has 11 blocks, 1cm each. So:

n=11; x=1

width=3*11 = 33cm

height=5cm
